In this interview she talks about her early work and desire to focus on narrative storytelling, both in comedies such as The Little Hours, Deidra and Laney Rob a Train and her work on the Alan Ball HBO series Here and Now. Quyen also discusses the personal challenges of raising a family, finding work/life balance and the experience of mentoring other women behind the camera.
