In this episode, we are going to talk about the best ways to reduce the number of spam messages we are receiving each day on LinkedIn.

We know we are not alone when we say we are tired of all the spam messages we are receiving each day, and now the spam "notes" people are adding to their connection requests.


If you're not careful, your LinkedIn inbox can quickly become overrun with spam messages.


But there are a few things you can do to reduce the amount of spam you receive.


1. Make sure your profile is set to "Private.":


2. Adjust your LinkedIn settings so that only people you're connected to can send you messages:


3. If you're still receiving a lot of spam messages, you can report them to LinkedIn.


4. Ignore any connection request that has a spam "note" attached:


5. Remove any connection of yours that spam messages you from the onset of the accepted connection request


6. Block/Remove any connection request that immediately hard sells you on something you don't need:
