Description
It’s been a whole year since George Floyd’s passing and the Black Lives Matter movement. What have we learned? What work is still to be done?
Today I’m joined by the incredible Annie Gichuru who is the founder of Uplifting Studios, a platform dedicated to supporting online business owners to build culturally and racially diverse, inclusive and equitable businesses. Annie is also the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) coach and consultant for The Beautiful You Coaching Academy where she supports trainees and coaches.
Annie is deeply passionate about representation through a racial justice lens and is an internationally certified coach supporting migrant women of colour and humans committed to building diverse businesses.
In this inspiring conversation, Annie and I cover what representation means to her, how to create an equitable and diverse business, how to show up as an ally even when you’re afraid and so much more.
I know you’re going to love this conversation and gain some incredible wisdom from Annie.
