Friends of the Rosary:
Today, on the first Sunday of Advent, all of us who follow Christ begin a period of a renewed commitment to the faith.
Advent is a time of vigilant waiting that prepares us to welcome the mystery of the Word Incarnate.
The true light enters the world through the immaculate Mary. The light flows out into our dark, obscure, and sinful lives to illuminate them.
To wait for the Lord who comes, we pray and practice penance. We prepare to receive the joy of Christ through his gift of grace and salvation.
