Description
[Comment: Overcome the World]
Friends of the Rosary,
Christianity is not a walk in the park. Jesus Christ cautioned us to expect persecution and threats until His second coming.
In today's reading (Luke 21:12-19), He says: "They will seize and persecute you" and "you will be hated by all because of my name".
Persecution looks different, depending on where you live.
We find courage in our struggle and suffering. Why? Because we trust in Jesus Christ and his triumphant Cross. We have full confidence in the promises of Jesus and Mary, reflected in the Holy Rosary.
"In the world you have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." (Jn. 16:33).
The Son of God instructs us (Luke 21:12-19): "By your perseverance, you will secure your lives." "Not a hair on your head will be destroyed."
Does anyone conceive that the Creator of the Universe—who is all love—can abandon us?
We rejoice in our worries, while we invoke the glorious mysteries of the Virgin Mary's Holy Rosary.
