Description

[Comment: False Messiahs]
Friends of the Rosary,
In today’s reading of the New Testament, Jesus warns against the false messiahs that we will see before the second coming.
"Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he’ and ‘The time has come.’ Do not follow them!" (Luke 21:5-11).
We see everywhere false prophets who either claim to represent God or offer an alternative to the True Faith. They can be political leaders, social reformers, fanciful artists, or religious gurus. They all claim to represent the ultimate authority.
We need to pray hard—Holy Rosary in hand—for not being deceived by these phonies and scammers. Jesus Christ is alone the Holy One and the King of the Universe, as we celebrated this Sunday. His bride on Earth and His Mystical Body is the Catholic Church, where we all belong—not only the hierarchy.
So when we are hungry for leadership on Earth, let’s attend Holy Eucharist, go to Adoration, take confession, invoke the saints, and pray the mysteries of the Rosary.
Let’s spend time in dialogue with Jesus and Mary. We will receive the grace from above to keep going and spot deceitful leaders.
