Jennifer began her career as an advertising assistant. Bored beyond belief, and curious about what else she could do outside of an office cubical, evoked the first of many unique creations. Upon delivering her resignation letter to her boss, she had already started her business of hand painting on barrettes, calling them “Jenniclips.” Her whimsical designs piqued the interest of many and people kept inquiring, “What else can you create?” She pieced together a financial plan that allowed her to grow the business — these other side gigs included: hand modeling, production assisting on tv commercials, and a receptionist at a hair salon, to name a few.Without a clue of what was next, Jennifer began to build her business acumen. She has evolved her business from hair accessories into a charming line of handmade gemstone jewelry. She attended Buyer’s Markets to show her jewelry line glass art and connect with wholesale accounts across the US. In 1998 one of her glass art creations, MagicStones®, was featured on Oprah. In 2011, she opened her first jewelry store in Tiburon, called “Jewels.” Today, Julie creates new jewelry every day in her beautiful boutique in downtown Mill Valley.When designing a custom piece for you, Julie is an alchemist and reaches out with her awareness into your energy field and creates something that will match what you are looking for, even if you don’t have the words for it.
