Charles was an all-in, totally devout, born-in-the-covenant Mormon. His nickname while on his LDS mission in Guatemala was "Flecha" (Arrow) because he was that straight-arrow about his LDS faith. He served, returned, graduated from BYU, married his RM wife, started a family, and joined the ranks of leadership in his local ward. Then things started to unravel, but when they did, Jesus showed up and changed everything.
