Description

Welcome to Roadcase!!  We're super psyched to have Dan Horne and John Lee Shannon of Circles Around the Sun with us for this final episode of 2022.  Dan and John, both amazing musicians, are riding a glorious cosmic-disco wave of psychedelic vibes and are both excited about their upcoming album, Language, due for release in early 2023, which features Mikaela Davis on the title track (currently out now).  In the wake of the tragic loss of their guitarist, Neal Casal in 2019, Circles has persevered and even thrived, against all odds. But the new material and a continued sense of purpose has propelled them to even greater heights.  Dan is also a noted producer of several amazing LA-based bands, most notably, Mapache, Allah-Las and Pacific Range, among others, and has an easy-going and chill vibe, as does John, who adds his signature shredding guitar to an already stellar line-up. We talk about the upcoming album, life on the road, cosmic musical vibes and the increasingly challenging business environment for touring musicians.  So light up that disco ball and hop on the Roadcase bus for this final episode of 2022.  It's gonna be a great ride!!For more info... Circles Around the Sun:hhttps://www.circlesaroundthesun.com/Dan Horne:https://www.danhorne.net/Grateful Shred:https://gratefulshredmusic.com/For more information on Roadcase: https://linktr.ee/roadcasepod and https://www.roadcasepod.comContact: info@roadcasepod.comTheme music:  "Eugene (Instrumental)" by Waltzer
