A brutal storm system battering people across much of the country. Devastation in Louisiana from multiple tornadoes. At least two people were killed. The Federal Reserve is expected to raise interest rates again today to try to curb inflation, even as the latest numbers show inflation is slowing down. FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried is in a Bahamas jail cell this morning, on charges he misused billions of dollars from customers, for his own personal gain. It's a case that's raising all kinds of questions about crypto on capitol hill. Scott MacFarlane reports that Bankman-Fried was also a big political donor. An update on a crush of migrants entering the U.S. In El Paso, Texas. Drone video shows them lined up at the river that separates the city from its Mexican neighbor, Juarez. Some 2,400 people sought to enter the U.S. along that part of the border on Sunday alone. Border officials say they are overwhelmed, and they need help. President Biden led a huge ceremony yesterday to sign a bill protecting same-sex and interracial marriage. The Respect for Marriage Act replaces a federal law from the 1990s that defined marriage as between a man and a woman.
