Her non-white attempted wife gave interviews of gratitude that her same sex partner is returning to the US. In Texas, the trial for the police killing of Atatiana Jefferson commenced. Jefferson, a 28-year-old black female, was shot and killed in her residence by Aaron Dean, a 38-year-old White Man, in 2019. Jefferson's 8-year-old nephew, Zion, watched his auntie die.
