When competitive dancer Chelsie Hill got into a friend's car as a teenager, she didn't know that it would be the last time she would traditionally dance, run, or live the same way ever again. As a result of the accident, Chelsie suffered a spinal cord injury, became paralyzed, and lost the use of her legs. This could've completely ended her dreams of being a dancer. Except it didn't.
Chelsie's attitude, mindset, confidence, and resilience inspired her to live boundlessly, create an all-wheelchair dance team, The Rollettes, and organize the world's largest global movement and empowerment experience for girls and women in chairs.
She recently made headlines for using leg braces and a walker to surprise her husband by walking down the aisle. Chelsie is a leader, a role model, and an incredible advocate for the disability community who reminds us all that we can do anything we set our mind to. She is also a shining example of taking a leap of faith and CREATING something you wish to see in the world.
