Description

Welcome to Roadcase!!  We're psyched to have Fran Keaney of Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever for this special episode. This amazing band from Australia just released their new album, Endless Rooms, in May of this year, and Fran and the band were in the midst of their North American tour back at the end of the summer when Josh caught up with Fran in an early AM interview from Fran's hotel in Brooklyn the day of their show at Music Hall of Williamsburg that evening. Known for their expansive soundscapes and "guitar army" of sound, these bandmates had been playing in various iterations since the mid 2000s, and once they got picked up by the SubPop label in 2018, they simply took off. Touring globally and bringing their music to various corners of the world has brought a new level of gratitude and appreciation for what their music means to their multitude of fans worldwide. From humble beginnings, Fran explains how Rolling Blackouts C.F. continue to bring the energy and a special level of joy into the post-Pandemic world. So hop aboard the Roadcase bus for this special interview with Fran Keaney.
