Description

James O'Brien is a British broadcaster, radio presenter, journalist and podcaster. James is best known for his show on LBC and his recent book 'How To Be Right'

We met up with James back in July to talk about his early life, going to boarding school and how he eventually followed in his father's footsteps to become a journalist via a short stint trying his hand at acting.

James talked candidly about his time working as a gossip columnist and what led him into broadcasting and his now infamous take downs of callers on his live phone ins on LBC.

Amazingly it takes us nearly an hour before we talk about Brexit and Trump and we could have chatted for hours, James is always incredibly insightful, intriguing and wonderful company.

Everyone has those difficult blank moments sometimes. Whether in your personal life, career, relationship, or in a public situation, writer's block, social anxiety, imposter syndrome, being off-form or having an identity crisis can affect anyone at any time. It's part of the human condition and yet it can throw us off course and make us feel helpless. Giles Paley-Phillips and Jim Daly host an informal, insightful podcast in which they chat to well-known people from comedy, acting, writing, broadcasting, politics and sports about their careers and how they get through these moments when things aren't going to plan theblankpodcast2018@gmail.com http://twitter.com/blankpod http://instagram.com/blankpod http://facebook.com/blankpod
