Description
Take a trip to the North Pole with your horror hosts Dan and Faith (no, we're not looking for Santa Claus!) as the Late Night Fright takes a look back at director Christian Nyby's classic 1951 sci-fi/horror masterpiece THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD!
Produced by the legendary Howard Hawks (BRINGING UP BABY, RIO BRAVO) and based on the novella WHO GOES THERE by John W. Campbell, THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD stars James Arness (GUNSMOKE) as a vampire super carrot from outer space hell bent on sucking the blood of the human race! This film has been called the greatest science fiction film of the 1950s and is a personal favorite of John Carpenter, who directed his own telling of the tale in 1982.
