October is almost over and so is our look back at the classic Universal monsters. The month comes to a close with one of the greatest creature features of all time, 1954’s Creature From The Black Lagoon, the movie that introduced the world to the Gill-Man!
The Jack Arnold directed classic features a wonderful ensemble cast, an iconic creature design courtesy of Millicent Patrick, and some of the most beautiful underwater sequences ever put on film. Its influence can be felt on such modern classics as 1981’s The Thing and 1987’s Predator.
