Teitur is a musician and songwriter hailing from the Farøe Islands, whose 2003 debut album 'Poetry and Airplanes' paved the way for international success and a host of new fans including the likes of John Mayer, Aimee Mann and Rufus Wainwright.  Since then, he has continued to build a strong reputation for his innovative musicianship as well his bold collaborations with fellow musicians, designers and artists.   Last year he was knighted by the Queen of Denmark for his outstanding contribution to the performing arts.  Explore more of Teitur's work at:www.teitur.com
