Description

The Bo Brothers met up with Old Man Bay Signs Owner Matt Bay and found out so much more than the process that Matt takes old bourbon barrels and turns them into first class signs.   Matt worked as a Firefighter (a true real life hero) for more than 25 years in St. Louis Missouri until he suffered a major breakdown which left him diagnosed with PTSD Anxiety & Depression.Matt tells about how he had hit rock bottom and it was accidental how Old Man Bay Signs started.   On one occasion, Matt was asked if he could make a Welcome sign for the porch.  That first sign lead to some more signs for family members and he started to like it a lot and it became a therapy of sorts.  So, you guess it!  One things leads to another and thus was born Old Man Bay Signs and a trip to the Kentucky Bourbon Festival.Matt's business is only a smart part of the huge message he shares with the Bo Brothers about getting help if you are struggling with depressions, anxiety or any other mental health issues.  Don't try and be a tough guy!  We hope you enjoy this show!#GetHelp #MentalHealth #OldManBaySigns #BourbonBarrels #KyBourbonFestival2021

Join the Bo Brothers, a couple of long time goofy radio DJ's as they go on a quest to learn more about Bourbon especially because they live in the Heart of Bourbon Country and also realizing they really didn't know a lot about the world famous liquid - except they do enjoy it from time to time. The Bo Brothers look to interview the experts in the Bourbon industry and other things that are unique to the Heart of Central Kentucky like Wineries, Craft Breweries, Country Ham, Caves, Kayaking, Trail Riding, Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Restaurants, Kentucky Foods, Kentucky Tourism, and so much more. The Bo Brothers usually pair a select Kentucky bourbon (and occasionally even a premium cigar) with great, educational and sometimes absolutely ridiculous discussions about one of the treasures of Kentucky... the HEART! Join the Bo Brothers for a truly unique trek to learn more about the Heart of Central Kentucky!
