The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Mike Hill steps Behind The Rope. Mike Hill. Also known, to us BravoHolics as Mr. Cynthia Bailey. Before delving deep into what y’all wanna talk about, RHOA, yea we know, we chat with Mike about his childhood, illustrious career as a Sports Journalist, and stellar tell all book, “Open Mike” (yup, great title). Mike opens up about some of the traumas he has faced in life as detailed in the book, how writing this book was not only cathartic, but basically “saved his life”, and how through the writing process he was able to let go of childhood demons and become the man he is today. Deep we know, but really, it is a great book! Ok, now we can get into what y’all wanna chat about, The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Mrs. Cynthia Bailey Hill. We start at the beginning, their chance meeting on The Steve Harvey Show during a rapid round of “The Dating Game”. Cynthia chose Mike as her “date”, and the rest is history. We discuss how Mike feels about filming RHOA with wife Cynthia and how the transition from full time Sportscaster to part time Bravo Housewives Husband has been. We needed, and got, answers on what he really thinks about the RHOA women, the RHOA drama, the social media feuds which are part of any Housewives job, and whether he is ever shocked at just how far our favorite Peach Holders will go to make good TV. Of course, we also needed to chat about Miss Linnethia Leaks - the real reasons behind her sudden departure from RHOA, the cast's reactions, her lack of response to the Bailey Hill wedding invite, her current petition to boycott Bravo due to her claims of alleged racial improprieties and Mike’s predictions for the future of Nene’s friendship with Cynthia. Speaking of the Bailey-Hill wedding, we chat about Cynthia’s now infamous Bachelorette Party, Bolo, the male exotic dancer in the middle of it all, and just which of the Peach Holders we suspect “hooked up”, allegedly, with Mr. Bolo in all his glory (see Kenya, we are here to help you uncover the season's core mystery). We also chat about his nuptials to Cynthia - what we saw play out on RHOA, the behind the scenes details we did not see on TV, and the public outcry and reaction to holding a 250 person wedding during a global pandemic. Thank you Mr. Hill for stopping by and being, well, an “Open Mike” (Available everywhere books are sold!).
