The Dallas Stars (8-4-1) wanted to finish up their three game road trip with a win over their rivals the Winnipeg Jets, but they ended up getting a taste of their own medicine. The Jets controlled the puck and dominated the Stars by a score of 5-1. Despite ugliness of the scoreboard, this is not a game worth panicking over. Sometimes teams just get outplayed and that’s what happened to the Stars on Tuesday night at Canada Life Centre. Even with the loss, we saw Jason Robertson score a goal for the sixth game in a row. He continues to set the NHL on fire. We also speculate on the likelihood of Jake Oettinger making his return on Friday night when the San Jose Sharks pay a visit to the American Airlines Center.
