Description

The Husker247 HypeCast returned with Gary Sharp from 1620 the Zone and started with a brief summation of the weird recent history between Nebraska and Minnesota, as the two teams have played some strange and notable games in recent seasons.
From there Sharp talked about his expectations for Nebraska football this weekend in a similar kind of game as the one the Huskers lost to Illinois last Saturday. Michael Bruntz discussed the merits of getting Anthony Grant going in the running game and if Alante Brown and Chancellor Brewington are one offs or can use the Illinois performances as a bit of a launching pad for the final month.
Defensively Sharp touched on how the Huskers defended against Illinois’ Chase Brown and if things would look similar for Minnesota’s Mo Ibrahim. Then Bruntz discusses Nebraska’s ability to slow down an RPO attack that has befuddled the defense for several seasons.
Finally there are oddly specific predictions, featuring several interesting names forecasted to be doing big things, picks to click and finally score predictions.
Settle in and enjoy the Husker HypeCast and then tweet at Brian Christopherson asking why he’s protesting this episode.
