Steve is the founder of The Dream Syndicate -- a band that emerged in Los Angeles in the early 80s as a keystone of the neo-psychedelic movement and crushed it with their 1982 debut album, The Days of Wine and Roses. Now celebrating the 40th anniversary of this spectacular initial effort, The Dream Syndicate is riding high with their most recent album release entitled Ultraviolet Battle Hymns and True Confessions, another stellar album by this storied band. Steve has enjoyed a long and successful solo career as well, and is simply a stellar human, amazing musicologist and continually psyched to be playing music to his legion of fans around the globe. Constantly evolving, learning and discovering new and innovative ways of creative musical expression, Steve's enthusiasm and excitement to perform and thrill his audience is infectious and inspiring.
