Description

In this episode, we welcome Tim Challies to the show. He is a Christian theologian, pastor, author, and blogger. He was a very early adopter of the blog format, and his blog at challies.com focuses on theology, social and cultural commentary, and book reviews. He is also the author of the new book Seasons of Sorrow: The Pain of Loss and the Comfort of God, which details his mourning process in the first calendar year after the sudden death of his son Nick. In this interview, we discuss why he has such reverence for the bible, what he thinks about Christians that don’t read the bible, the shock of losing his son so suddenly, whether or not he thinks he will see his son again in heaven, the note he wrote and left in the pocket of the sweater that his son was buried in, how he worked through the feeling that his son’s death may have been his fault, how his son’s death shaped his views on the sovereignty of God, whether children that die before the age of accountability go to heaven, what the bible says about true manliness, and much more. Let’s get into it…

Undaunted.Life produces content specifically designed for the rugged Christian looking for ways to improve as a man. The men that consume our content stand ready to push back spiritual and cultural darkness. We will seek the Lion of Judah. Let's get into it...
