Description

Italy held snap general elections on 25th September which saw a victory for its 'centre-right' coalition of parties. Chief among these was the radical right Brothers of Italy party led by presumptive PM Giorgia Meloni, who managed to triumph over a divided centre-left. We discuss what the origins and ideology of the new rightist government and the how electoral systems effects played a huge role in their victory.
