Steve Sarkisian has done a lot of great things at the University of Texas. Thus far, he has brought in two generational talents at the quarterback position. (Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning). He brought Xavier Worthy to the University of Texas and he has brought in two top five recruiting classes. His offenses have been largely explosive and have had some of the best outputs in the country regardless of who is at the quarterback position. However, the on the field product has left some meat on the bone to some Texas fans. With Steve Sarkisian being in his second year, I wanted to compare him to two head coaches in the SEC who are in their second year as well. Much gratitude to Eric Cain of  @Locked On Vols  and Andrew Lyon of  @Locked On Gamecocks  for assisting me in measuring Josh Heupel and Shane Beamer to Steve Sarkisian in their first twenty games coached. Sam Ehlinger, former great Longhorn quarterback, will be the starter for the remainder of the season for the Indianapolis Colts, while some other lifetime Longhorns have been balling this year in the NFL.
