Description

This week my producer Catherine and I had a lot to catch up on amidst brutal jet lag and PMS. I complained to her about social anxiety and how hard in-person conversations are. We talked about our biggest physical insecurities and how we handle it (or break down) when someone points them out. We dissected the versions of our past selves we wish we could forget, and how much time we waste talking shit about ourselves. And finally, we did the thing of all things and finally bridged the gap between those of us with big boobs and those of us with small boobs–I speak on behalf of the latter team while Catherine represents the former, and together we  compare notes on the best and worst parts of both worlds.

Tell Me About It is the podcast manifestation of all the “off-the-record” conversations we’ve had with other women about things we’re taught to stay silent about -- from stumbling through our twenties, rejections, heartbreaks, fertility struggles, mental health challenges, mistakes, and the cringey shame spirals that keep us up at night. Host Jade Iovine and her guests challenge the idea of social media perfected lives and get very real about all the less-than-perfect and inevitable shitty moments we all go through. Tell Me About It is here to remind us that we’re not alone… and that the women we constantly compare ourselves to ALSO have lives that are far from perfect.
