Description

We take a break from David Lynch December to take a look at a film that ranks in the bottom 100 of IMDB's worst-rated movies of all time: Dungeons and Dragons (2000). Starring, for some reason, Jeremy Irons and Richard O'Brien, the film follows a band of adventurers who are drawn into a quest to save the empire from the evil clutches of a dragon-obsessed mage. First-time guest co-host and D&D expert Alan "The Dungeon Coach" Bjorkgen joins Chris to talk about the film, how close it is to the actual tabletop game and the atrocious special effects. You can follow Chris Stachiw at @Casualty_Chris and the Kulturecast @kulturecast. The music is Tigerblood Jewel's The Bayou. You can also subscribe to the Kulturecast on iTunes here. Also, don’t forget to check out our official Facebook page for news, upcoming reviews, contests, and new content along with our Patreon page.
