Description
We end You've Never Seen September with a look at a film that is as notorious awful: Dan Aykroyd's vanity project and only directing credit Nothing But Trouble. Starring Chevy Chase, Demi Moore, John Candy, and Dan Aykroyd, it follows Chase and Moore as two yuppies who get pulled over by a local sheriff played by Candy who takes them in front of his deranged "hanging judge" grandfather played by Aykroyd. It's a bizarre film that attempts to be both funny and scary at the same time yet fails and doing either at all; it's genuinely one of the worst films ever covered on the Kulturecast. The One Season Show's Jess Byard joins Chris to talk about the film, why Aykroyd may have been the weakest of the classic SNL alum, and pondering why anyone thought a penis nose was funny. You can follow Chris Stachiw at @KultureStach and the Kulturecast @kulturecast. The intro/outro music is _91nova's Thunderous You can also subscribe to the Kulturecast on iTunes here.
