Description

Chris is sans Eric but joined by Rainbow Comics' Zach Pogany and InkFilmsInc's Oscar Moreno to talk David Lynch's most mainstream film Blue Velvet. The film stars Kyle MacLachlan as Jeffrey Beaumont, a college student who returns home only to find a disembodied human ear behind in the woods behind his house. This discovery leads him to discover the disturbing underbelly of his sleepy little town including one of cinema's most horrifying villains Frank Booth portrayed by Dennis Hopper. It's one of Lynch's finest films and a truly disturbing take on small-town America's dirty little secrets. As always, you can follow Chris Stachiw at @KultureStach, Eric Kniss at @tychomagnetics and Kulture Shocked at @KultureShocked. The music is Wovoka's "Lament," and Da DeCypher's "Two Step featuring Ben-Jamin"; big thanks to both for allowing us to use their tracks.
