Description

This week Mike and Lara are joined by Kyle Orozovich for the perfect Halloween comfort watch,  Shaun of the Dead. This 2004 British horror comedy was at the forefront of the early aughts zombie revival. Yet where films like Dawn of the Dead and 28 days Later were grounded and self-serious, Shaun of the Dead, delivered a metric ton of laughs to go over all along with some fantastic effects and gross out visuals. Shaun gifted the world the wonderful performances of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as Sean and Ed to slacker 20 somethings that need a good kick in the pants in the form of the zombie apocalypse to get them to finally grow up. Or at least to get one of them to grow up.
