Description

Another Monday is upon us which means a fresh episode of the Real Life Podcast is all set and ready to ease you back into your workweek. This week, the guys covered the first week of the NHL season, the goaltending situation here in Edmonton, and welcomed Harnarayan Singh from Hockey Night in Canada. Kicking things off, the guys got started with a look at the Edmonton Oilers' slow start and whether or not anyone is ready to hit the panic button. After getting pummelled by Montreal on Saturday, some fans are already writing the Oilers off, so the guys tried to get to the bottom of what's gone wrong and what needs to change to ensure the train gets back on the rails. Speaking of things going wrong, the goaltending issues in Edmonton are at the forefront and the guys took a few swings regarding how this will play out even with Troy Grosenick on the way after being claimed on waivers from the LA Kings. Lastly, the guys welcomed Hockey Night in Canada's Harnarayan Singh to the podcast for the second time to talk about his English play-by-play debut and how much it meant to him to get the opportunity to get the call on opening night. Singh also offered his observations from around the North Division, including some of his favourites in the division as well as what the Oilers need to do to turn things around.  Hosted on Acast.
