Summary:
People tend to think of capitalism and labor unions as inherently antagonistic towards each other. But they’re not. It was actually a very anti-capitalist law passed as part of the New Deal that changed the nature of the employment contract and destroyed the natural buyer-seller dynamic that would otherwise emerge.
