Irons is the epitome of the traits actors hold most dear and has always been a generous mentor to SCAD performing arts students. In recognition of his monumental achievements in acting and longtime friendship, he received the SCAD Etoile Lifetime Achievement in Cinema award at the inaugural SCAD Lacoste Film Festival.
