We join Kai, Torin, The Predator, and other officials at a fancy dinner party. But an unexpected dinner platter ruins the vibe. Kai saves the day but not before The Predator gets the last word. Then, we join Cinder at the quarantines desperate to save Peony. After a run-in with an android, Cinder sees an old acquaintance in a faraway bed. But new arrivals at the quarantines surprise Cinder, and we are left wondering where she is going next.
