Description

Christy Powers had a successful career and seemly a great life, but she wasn't feeling well. She felt exhausted, had brain fog, and wasn't feeling like herself. She went to several doctors who told her she was depressed until she was diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases. She was given medication and told there was nothing she could do about it. She refused to accept that. So she went on a search for answers and solutions. She started changing her diet, meditating, changing her lifestyle, and now both autoimmune disorders are in remission. She has written a book about her journey to help others and has a coaching practice. She shares her journey with us, what kept her going, and what we can all do to achieve the health and wellbeing we deserve. She reminds us always to follow our intuition, and if you don't like the answers you are getting about your health, keep searching.

Everyone remembers where they were on that fateful day Sept 11th, 2001 in NYC when a terrorist attack shocked the world. I’m personally going to take you back WITH me to Tower One of the World Trade Center when shock, terror, flames, and chaos burst into the building. I was on the 78th-floor sky lobby when that first plane crashed into the building. It felt like a huge bomb had just exploded as I was blown right off my feet. All lights instantly went out. The elevators were engorged with flames while the building filled with smoke. On that day, 658 of my Cantor Fitzgerald co-workers—many of whom were also my friends—who were sitting at their desks were brutally murdered that day. I was one of the few lucky ones who survived, and my life totally changed instantly and it will never be the same.
