Description
NHL Free Agency is set to launch and the boys are back with a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio to help you make sense of what’s to come with an hour of all things Edmonton Oilers. On today’s show, we looked at Jack Campbell coming to down, Brett Kulak testing free agency, and a whole lot more.To kick off the Tuesday episode of Oilersnation Radio, we got started with a look at Jack Campbell and how it certainly seems like the Oilers will be signing the former Lead to a fresh contract when the free agency buzzer goes tomorrow morning. With that in mind, we debated whether Campbell is an upgrade over what the Oilers had in Mike Smith and also if this was the best way to spend a healthy chunk of their cap space. From there, we looked at what the Oilers' biggest needs are as they enter free agency and how they should prioritize the money they have available. We also looked at Duncan Keith's tenure with the Oilers now that he's officially retired. Now that we know it was for only one season, how does the Keith trade look now? How would we rate his lone season in Edmonton? Lastly, we wrapped up the free agency preview episode of Oilersnation Radio with a look back at some of our favourite and least favourite free agent signings that have happened over the years.
