Description

Welcome, Nation, to a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio that's ready for your earholes just in time for the weekend. How exciting is that? This week, we welcomed Brock Seguin from Daily Faceoff to talk a little fantasy hockey, Ken Holland, the Stanley Cup Finals, and a whole lot more. To start off this week's podcast, we spoke to Brock about Daily Faceoff, the fantasy site in The Nation Network, and what it's like to run that thing. As someone who has covered for Brock before, I know how much work goes into making that site tick but to hear it in his own words was interesting. Another thing about Brock is that he is a diehard Red Wings fan so it was fun to hear his take on what Oilers fans can expect with Ken Holland as the new GM. To hear him say that this was probably a good move for the organization and back it up with examples was very encouraging to hear and I think you'll agree. From there, we got into the coaching moves that were made today as it was revealed that Trent Yawney and Manny Viveiros would not be back for the upcoming season while Glen Gulutzan would be staying aboard. From there, we wrapped things up with a look at the Stanley Cup Finals as the boys tried to decide whether they care about either team winning or not.  Hosted on Acast.
