It’s Friday afternoon and that means a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio is here to help you finish off your week with an hour of all things Edmonton Oilers. On this week’s show, we looked at the NHL's COVID issues, the Olympics, and a whole lot more. To kick off this week’s podcast, we kicked things off with a question about whether or not the NHL should press pause on the schedule now that COVID is running through the league. Even though there are a handful of teams that are dealing with postponed games right now, we're not sure that the NHL has any interest in a total work stoppage and would rather try and figure things out as they come. Seeing as the NHL is struggling with COVID right now, we also looked at the Olympics that are supposed to kick off early next year and whether or not we actually think the players will be going over as hoped. Changing gears, we looked at Paul Maurice stepping down in Winnipeg and offered up a few theories on why that happened, especially since he's been around forever.
