Description

It’s been a quiet week around these parts but that doesn't mean we didn't have enough to come up with a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio to help get you through what’s left of your week while also make sense of everything going on with the Oilers and around the NHL. On this week’s show, we looked at ads going on NHL jerseys, McDavid points predictions, and a whole lot more. Kicking off today's podcast, we jumped in with a conversation about ads being placed on jerseys for the start of the 2022-23 NHL season and whether or not anyone was surprised that the NHL decided to make some of the easiest money they possibly could. From there, we looked at one of the more evil Would You Rather questions that I've ever seen as it related to the Oilers potentially winning the Stanley Cup and losing a superstar to make it happen. We also discussed Auston Matthews being on the cover of NHL 22, making it the second time the Leafs sniper has made the cover and offering up another reason to piss off hockey fans from every other fanbase. Then to wrap up this week's podcast, we brought back Ask the Idiots for a round of rapid-fire questions where I asked everyone on the podcast a series of hockey questions and they had to give their hottest takes on whatever topic came into my brain.  Hosted on Acast.
