On this episode, Katie is joined by Dr. Susan Shaw, Professor of Women, Gender, & Sexuality Studies at Oregon State University and the co-PI for OREGON STATE ADVANCE. Susan is the author of Reflective Faith: A Theological Toolbox for Women and God Speaks to Us, Too: Southern Baptist Women on Church, Home, and Society and the co-author with Mina Carson and Tisa Lewis of Girls Rock! 50 Years of Women Making Music. She also serves as the general editor of the 4-volume Women’s Lives around the World: A Global Encyclopedia. Susan is the co-author and editor with Janet Lee of a forthcoming new edition of Gendered Lives, Feminist Visions: Classic and Contemporary Readings in Women and Gender Studies. She is also the co-author with Grace Ji-Sun Kim of the forthcoming book Intersectional Theology: An Introductory Guide, Fortress Press.
