Description

We were joined by our second MD of the season, Rabbi Dr. Edward Reichman, the Isaac and Bella Tendler Chair of Jewish medical ethics at Yeshiva University, and Attending Physician of Emergency Medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center.
Rabbi Dr. Reichman is also the author of The Anatomy of Jewish Law published by Maggid Books. He analyzes rabbinic literature on medical issues from previous centuries to enlighten modern understandings of medical halakha. From conjoined twins to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Anatomy of Jewish Law is a refreshing and illuminating look at the interplay between secular and Jewish wisdom, and how each can affect the other.
