Whitney spent her teenage years in the foster care system, mostly in group homes and juvenile detention centers, and now dedicates her time to helping youth who are aging out of care. She and her husband Maurice run a transitional housing program for 18-21 year olds to help them learn life skills and self-sufficiency.
