Description

After almost 20 years, it seemed like the disappearances of Lauria Bible and Ashley Freeman would remain a mystery. On December 29, 1999, Lauria was attending a sleepover at her friend Ashley's home. Early the next morning, the house was engulfed in flames, Lauria and Ashley were missing, and Ashley's parents Danny and Kathy were found dead in the home with gunshot wounds. Savannah explores this bizarre case and why it took so long for a suspect to be apprehended. She also delves into the evidence that has always pointed at Ronnie James Busick and his two now-dead accomplices, Warren Phillip Welch II and David Pennington that ultimately led to the 2018 arrest of Ronnie James Busick. Though Lauria and Ashley's bodies have yet to be recovered, maybe now the Bible and Freeman family will finally get some semblance of closure.
