1. The Guardians have lost five in a row and tonight's game might have been the worst one of the lot. We get into a game that went so badly there was an infielder pitching and the Guardian's only scored run was due to a wild pitch. Yes, Ernie Clement does get one of the three stars in this one just for pitching. We also get into the recent struggles of Triston McKenzie. We have to ask if he can consistently elevate himself to be a more consistent front-of-the-line starter.
2. We get into some old friend alerts with Oscar Mercado being claimed and Carlos Santana being traded. We talk about why certain players are unlikely to be trade targets for the Guardians even though it is becoming clearer and clearer that this team needs to add some help.
3. We talk about how things have gone for the hitters since the first of May. It is clear that a lot of players are massively struggling and the question is is it due to bad luck or something else. We talk about who has hope for rebounds and who are the players who are unlikely to turn it around. We also try to figure out how to upgrade on those players.
