The Cleveland Guardians crush the Kansas City Royals. We go over the stellar start by Konnor Pilkington and the great production from Andres Gimenez, Richie Palacios, Steven Kwan, and Amed Rosario today. The Guardians complete the sweep of the Royals and are now just two games under .500. We also get into the trade that netted the Guardians Pilkington in the first place, and how that trade has had long-reaching effects that continue to hurt the Chicago White Sox to this day.

Next, we discuss why the trade for Pilkington should show why one should have implicit trust in the Guardian's front office when it comes to trades. We discuss why it is that the Guardians and White Sox continue to make sense for a future trade and one should not worry about an inter-division when one follows a team with a front office like the Guardians.
