Alec talks to Melinda Myers about gardening and the natural integration of sustainability into the topic. Nationally known gardening expert, TV/radio host, author & columnist Melinda Myers has over 30 years of horticulture experience and has written over 20 gardening books. She hosts the nationally-syndicated “Melinda’s Garden Moment” TV & radio program and The Great Courses “How to Grow Anything” DVD series. Myers is a columnist and contributing editor for Birds & Blooms and writes a column for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Melinda hosted “The Plant Doctor” radio show on Newsradio 620 WTMJ for over 20 years and seven seasons of “Great Lakes Gardener” on PBS. Myers has a master’s degree in horticulture and was a horticulture instructor with tenure.
