Slotting home a 22 metre penalty in the last kick of the match against Samoa in the final EMC Autumn test of 2010, not only that he done it at Pittodrie Stadium in his home city of Aberdeen!He became an important part of the Scotland squad earning a further 14 caps for his country. Unfortunately a bad knee injury put a stop to his progress with the national team and his new team at the time, The Wasps.Ruaridh battled back to fitness for club and country and managed to feature again for both!Jackson has now decided its time to hang up his boots and the end of this 2019-2020 pandemic affected season.
