This is part of an overnight recording from the shore of Perch Lake in Traverse City, Michigan USA. The lake is on forest land owned by the State of Michigan and is very close to the VASA trail system. It is around 2.5 to 3 miles from the nearest paved road, but noise pollution is still present most of the time.
