Description

In today’s program we explore a made in BC novel sustainable aquaponics technology.  Our guest for the program today is Mr. Rudi Schiebel, founder and CEO of Habitat Life Sciences, based out of Chase, BC.  Habitat is in the business of producing sustainable certified organic coho salmon, and organic ultra premium smokable Cannabis flower for the legal Canadian market.  Over the past 7 years, it has been Rudi's mission to find the most innovative ways to produce responsible and sustainable products and to continue pushing the limits of combining today's technologies with ecosystem based growing practices.
The cornerstone philosophy which governs all activities at Habitat is "producing more by wasting less". This philosophy is at the core of Habitat’s aquaponics technology which has now uniquely positioned itself at the forefront of multiple emerging industries - inland salmon farming, closed ecosystem technology, and cannabis cultivation.
