Lindy Elkins-Tanton is a Foundation and Regents professor in the School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University, vice president of the ASU Interplanetary Initiative, and Principal Investigator (PI) of NASA's Psyche mission. She’s also one of the few people in the world who has an asteroid named after her (Google: "Asteroid 8252 Elkins-Tanton").
